Meredydd Hughes CBE QPM MA is a former UK Chief Constable. His national responsibilities included leadership of major public and sporting events, roads policing, firearms, public order and emergency planning.
Now RSS Executive Chairman, he works internationally as a consultant and lecturer in his specialist policing and security fields, bringing his 32 years of Policing leadership to bear on critical problems in road safety, counter terrorism, and major event command.
With Trevor Hall and Bill Howes, Meredydd founded Road Safety Support (RSS) in 2007, which now has an international reputation for road safety strategy and enforcement consultancy.
Working worldwide, RSS has delivered projects for the UN, charities and national governments, partnering with agencies in every continent to reduce road death.
